5 TIPS FOR A HEALTHY LIFE

Regular physical activity and good food habits are essential for a healthy life. However, not everyone lives up to this expectation.

One of the major reasons why it is difficult for us to keep up with this, is our busy lifestyles, and it has a detrimental effect on the family’s health.
An individual who rushes to either school or work every day might not have time for some form of physical exercise, thereby making it quite difficult to be physically active.

During this period, we do not have the luxury of time to always prepare homemade meals, which would be nutritious and balanced to our taste, and we indulge in the habit of eating snacks and taking drinks, which are unhealthy for our body.
We need to make a conscious effort to address this, so that we can live a healthy lifestyle, and there are five (5) basic ways to make this possible.
Exercise each day: Now for some people, this might be totally impossible, due to their busy schedules.

However, if exercising cannot be done on a daily basis, it should be done from time to time, like 3-4 times weekly would suffice for someone who is very busy.

Advisably, they should engage in activities which would help to strengthen their muscles and bones

Take water instead of drinks: The most appropriate fluid to take is water. After food, water should be taken instead of drinks, as it aids proper digestion.

Take more vegetables and fruits: There are lots of benefits which come with taking vegetables and fruits, and people are ignorant of this fact.

Vegetables and fruits helps to improve vitality, and reduces the chances of being infected with diseases. Fruits and vegetables should conveniently be taken as a snack instead.

Spend less time in front of the screen: Instead of dedicating time to staying in front of the screen, it is best to remain active. Spending too much time in one position could cause someone to become overweight.

Reduce snacks intake: As earlier mentioned, vegetables and fruits are a better health alternative instead of snacks. Snacks causes excess weight especially in children.
